Ich benötige Bios-Update für Intel® PC-Mainboard DQ45CB
INTEL DH87RL : Unable to enter BIOS
I have purchased an Intel DH87RL motherboard and I have never been able to enter its BIOS.
On pressing F2 on boot, it just freezes till I hit the reset button on the CPU. F7 doesn't work either.
I know the keyboard is working since F10 option to enter the boot menu works.
I have tried out the following:
1. Removed CMOS battery for 12 hrs with CMOS jumper removed.
2. Tried connecting keyboard to the USB 3.0 port near HDMI port, USB on the front, as well as USB 2.0 ports.
3. Tried long pressing the power button( till 3 beeps)... the options appear but on pressing F2 or F7, system hangs and I have to reset the CPU.
4. Updated the BIOS version to 322. Still no use.
5. Replaced CMOS battery.
6. reseated the RAM.
7. Reseated the SATA connector of HDD to other ports (from port 0 to port 1) on motherboard
8. went to windows 7 from windows 8 ( not needed, i know!!)
9. Re-flashed BIOS( from windows )
My configuration is as follows:
i5 processor i5-4570
Kingston (1 X 4GB) 1600MHz RAM
Cooler Master 600W Thunder PSU
Cooler Master K281 cabinet
Seagate Maxtor 500GB 5200RPM HDD
Display out through HDMI to Sharp Aquos TV( Intel HD4600 unable to output the correct resolution to this TV)
Is the motherboard faulty?
Any support in this regard would be really appreciated.
With Regards,
Karthik K
dz87klt-75k struggle is real
sad to discover the end of intel's desktop boards was a reality. but regardless i wanted one to take that leap to 1150 since my 750 media series board is still going strong for a decade! almost went with EVGA or ASUS, but i found a single remaining dz87klt floating around on amazon with IO shield only. no boxes, software, or accessories. although it's bare bones for me this was a no brainer to sacrifice current generation to at least have an intel board... a board that's basically non existent... a ghost!
it was a struggle just to even find one, and now it's more of a struggle to get it operational.
got everything installed; i7-4771; 32GB 1600 RAM; 1TB HDD; 500w PSU; 1GB pci express card (since it was posting a video error)
turn the machine on with OS disk it hangs on POST CODE "15" no splash
run in bios mode using the red button i get POST CODE "EB" splash & menu are visible but keyboard is unresponsive (both USB & PS2)
pull the bios jumper and try to emergency flash bios 336 with USB it hangs on POST CODE "06"
if i try the exact same thing with bios 457 i think it hangs back on POST CODE "EB" or "15" again
if i pull ram or drives on next boot it will text that it noticed a change, but i still cannot hit enter and proceed to bios.
i had a similar issue with dp35dp trying to run a quad core, i had to reinstall core duo just to install a bios to recognize the quad core chip. however, all the processors in the compatibility list for dz87klt claim min bios "336"... is that what the board ships with? how could i update the bios if all the chips have same min bios? i feel like i'm taking crazy pills!

DZ77BH-55k Marvell SATA problem.
I had a hard drive connected to a Marvell gray SATA connector. Whenever I put a very large file on it, the file was always corrupted.
Acronis True Image makes 9 GB files when I backup an entire partition. If I have Acronis put it on the Marvell drive, it is always corrupted. If I put it on an Intel blue sata connected drive, the file is okay.
Furthermore, if I copy a good backup file on an Intel connected drive to the Marvell connected drive with Windows Explorer, the copy is corrupt.
I got around the problem by putting both hard drives on Intel Sata (blue) connectors, but I'm not happy.
I have the Marvell 1.2.0.1019 driver installed. I have the 0070 BIOS installed. I don't use RAID.
DX79TO and E5-2680 shows wrong clock speed
Hi
I have a number of DX79TO and DX79SR boards with E5-2680 XEON CPUs, these should be 2.70Ghz (as shown in the image), we have NO overclocking, the whole board is factory, however you can see it says "Overridden Processor SPeed is 2.00Ghz, so why is this?
How do we get this to be the speed the CPU should be?
Many Thanks
can i install 12gb ram (8gb + 4gb) on DH61HO?
I would like to know whether I can install 12gb RAM (8gb + 4gb) on DH61HO.
RAM Specifications: DDR3 4GB 1333MHz 1.5v ; DDR3 8GB 1333MHz 1.5v
If so
4GB RAM is installed in DIMM 2 (Channel B DIMM1). Then is DIMM 2 is primary slot?
Should I install 8GB ram in DIMM 2 and 4GB in DIMM 1 or vise versa?
What difference could it make?

Can't remote to Intel AMT WebUI from Windows 10 based workstations
Hi Support,
We are in the process of deploying Intel AMT to all our end points.
- We use Intel SCS 11 (the latest which is compatible with ConfigMgr 1511)
- We are provisioning the computers using the ConfigMgr Task Sequence
- Everything work but connecting to https://FQDN:16993 using Windows 10 based workstations
I know when you use a Windows 7 based workstation, there is a registry key to set in order to be able to use the integrated Windows Authentication with AD for WebUI... The registry key is:
- FEATURE_INCLUDE_PORT_IN_SPN_KB908209
- Dword: iexplore.exe = 1
This is great as it works on Windows 7 workstation... the problem that we are having is our customer is in the progress of migrating to Windows 10 and that registry key tweak does not work with Windows 10 based computer which is creating us big headache.
Does anyone of you have the solution to let us login to https://FQDN:16993 using Windows 10 based computer.
Our IE in Windows 10 has the "Enable Integrated Windows Authentication" box checked.

Mainboard DZ77BH-55K won't boot with SSD connected
Mainboard Intel DZ77BH-55K stops booting with SSD connected after working for some years
BIOS Version BHZ7710H.86A.0100.2013.0517.0942 - 17/05/2013
I bought this board November 2012 and connected a SSD OCZ Vertex 2 SATA II as a boot device.
In October 2013, nearly a year later, it wouldn't boot anymore, without permitting access to the BIOS.
So I replaced the OCZ-SSD 120GB with a new model Samsung E840 250GB.
Four days ago, after nearly 3 years working properly, the same issue occured again - the mainboard didn't boot with the SSD attached and the BIOS was not accessible, the mainboard LED showing the POST code E6. I didn't manipulate anything in the BIOS near this point of time.
Booting only was possible with the SSD removed and another SATA HDD as a boot device connected.
Interestingly tests with both SSDs on 2 other computers (an Abit-IP35Pro 2008 and a halfway new Medion-Laptop) were showing them working and booting properly.
Aside this problem the board also won't boot with connected external USB devices. To persuade the board into booting I have to remove ALL (seven) external USB devices. For this reason I instructed the BIOS to boot the USB devices after booting into the OS.
Now it asks for the boot device because it doesn't find it by itself, but also the POST shows a way into the BIOS by prompting F2, and F10 for the bootloader, but the the USB keyboard too is not connected at this time, so I cannot answer the BIOS' questions. Thank Heaven I found a grime covered ancient PS/2 keyboard in some corner, so I could resolve the problem for the moment. Permanently though I would prefer a more convenient method to boot the system.
I beg to excuse my somewhat clumsy English, asking for your help:
First, is there some workaround to reintegrate of my SSD into the system as a boot device, and second, is there a way to circumvent the booting of the external USB devices without disabling the USB keyboard/mouse at the same time?
Thanks in advance.

Substitute for ME on DH67 for W-10
Standard disclaimer: there is no official support for W-10 on 6-series (and previous) boards and graphics preceding Ivy Bridge.
A number of posts, especially from Scott, have noted that chipset, RST, and LAN device drivers for W-10 can be found at intel.com. None of those posts mentioned ME drivers, however. As an educational exercise I downloaded a W-10 64-bit disc from Microsoft and tried to create a working system on a DH67BL (BIOS of 0132), i5-2500 PC, and spare WDC drive. I obtained chipset and LAN drivers from Intel. I obtained an audio driver from Realtek. I obtained a graphics driver from NVIDIA, as this system has a graphics card, allowing me to avoid the dreaded pre-Ivy-Bridge graphics driver situation. I used an ME driver from W-8, 8.1.0.1248, because that was the latest available (there's also 8.1.0.1252, but DH67BL is not listed for it).
After I installed W-10, chipset driver, and Realtek driver, and rebooted, Device Manager indicated PCI Simple Communications Controller, so Microsoft did not supply an ME driver. I installed 8.1.0.1248 and rebooted, only to see KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED which usually refers to drivers, though W-10 composed itself and was able to proceed to a normal logon (Event Viewer contains a Critical Event 41 kernal-power at the same time without further explanation). I ran the latest IPDT, but it found nothing amiss. Control Panel showed ME to be installed. Device Manager showed no errors.
I rooted around in Downloads and took the ME with the largest number, 9.5.15.1730, that wasn't NUC or Compute Stick. I uninstalled 8.1.0.1248 and installed 9.5.15.1730. A reboot showed no errors. Control Panel showed ME to be installed. Device Manager showed no errors. Maybe this is the holy grail. If anyone knows a way to stress-test ME, please let me know.
I found another ME -- "Intel® Management Engine (Intel® ME) software for systems based on 3rd generation Intel® Processors or above" -- v-11.0.2.1002 for allOS including W-10. If my processor was Ivy Bridge, this would probably work. I'll keep this one for future reference.
DH 87 RL I have set the user and supervisor password and are now unable to clear it again
Hello,
I set both passwords and want to clear now, but I don't find any option in the Visual BIOS to clear it again. I can only set the password again. An empty entry is not allowed.
Question on D865GLC motherboard.
Can a former Gateway bios BF 86510A.15A.0043.P07.0308011434 be reflashed to a BF86510A.86A.0077.P25.0508040031 standard intel bios? The Intel flash software is looking for the second number group to be 86A, when it sees a 15A here,
it doesn't match what it wants and won't flash it. The board is an intel board, I think it was in a gateway computer and
they used their own bios. I'd like to turn it back into a standard intel bios. Any way to do this ?
