I just bought a new DZ77GA-70K motherboard to replace my broken gigabyte motherboard. I installed all my hardware into the DZ77GA-70K and when I powered it on, the motherboard gives me 3 beeps twice then shuts down and a LED code of 56. I then replaced the i7 3770 with an i5 3470 from a spare computer. After that the motherboard booted right up. I was wondering if the 3770 processor was dead or if the motherboard needs a bios update? The motherboard bios version is 39.

Haswell Refresh & Intel 8-Series Motherboards: it's a shame.
Hi to all.
I think the title is explicit.
As most people knows, Intel 8-Series chipsets based Motherboards will work with Haswell Refresh CPUs, just a BIOS update is needed.
I know that future Broadwell chips won't work.
I decided to build a workstation using an Intel motherboard, DH87MC, with latest Core i7 4790 Haswell Refresh CPU. Clean 4790, not 4790K.
I preferred an Intel 8-series MB rather than an Asus/MSI/etc 9-series based 'cause I use Intel motherboard for years (the oldest build is an ancient AN430TX, for Pentium MMX).
I love Intel motherboard for its clean design, without useless 3rd party chips that causes only driver issues; honestly I'm sad about the decision by Intel to leave MB market.
I'm only a small italian OEM and I know I can't change Intel decisions, but INTEL WAKE UP!
you have the resources to update the BIOS to your MBs to support your latest Haswell Refresh CPUs.
PLEASE MAKE THIS BIOS UPDATE, Intel, you are the biggest IT Company and a lot of persons bought your MBs for years (like me).
let's make this update, to honor the trust we put in you.

D945GNT Headphone socket not working under Windows 7
The headphone socket on my Intel D945GNT system board does not seem to work under Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
It worked ok under Windows XP Pro 32 bit.
Should I try installing the IDT audio drivers, even though they aren't listed as Windows 7 compatible?

DH61WW BIOS update problem ???

I recently updated my DH61WW board's BIOS from version 0048 to 0099, BIOS was updated successfully but my system is stuck on start up screen. It goes into options etc but do not load OS.
I tried BIOS recovery but it also did not worked.

DH61CR PS2 port not working after upgrading 48 to 120

Having a problem with DH61CR motherboard after BIOS update to 120. (PS2 keyboard not working)
I've noticed that keyboard works in freedos, but in bios and windows enviroment dosent work.
Previously i've had this problem aswell with other computers with this motherboard and replaced PS2 keyboard to USB one.
The reason of upgrading bios is cause im upgrading to ivy bridge cpu (and before upgrade it warns that its recommended to upgrade bios)
But this time I have 5machines with this motherboard and i bet i'l have same problem with every computer.
Any suggestions?solutions?
I've tryed force flashing bios (with jumper off and bios file on usb drive) and tryed turning off computer + taking out cmos battery for 30min.

Hello, i have a DH55tc (i3) with 8GB ram 1600(by default downgrade to 1333) but it shuts down with out a reason, i have check the bios on event log but nothing, also i have checked on the event viewer of windows and still nothing. i change 3 power supply but still the same problem i am running out of ideas could someone help??

USB 3.0 function
Good day Gentlemen,
I'm trying to upgrade my Windows 7 x64 Home Premium to Windows 8 Pro. When I used the Assistance Upgrade, it stated that I have to uninstall Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver as will as some pages from your support website.
I searched about this driver and I noticed that so many people have a problem with their USB 3.0 ports after upgrading to Windows 8 ! As they described, when they uninstalled Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver and upgraded to Windows 8, they lost the file transferring speed of USB 3.0 ports and it starts functioning as the normal USB 2.0 ports !
My question is .. If I uninstall Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver, Am I going to lose the original file transferring speed of my USB 3.0 ports ?

I have an intel board DH87MC when i turn iton it doesn't boot from first attempt.
When i try again i got : "BIOS has detected unsuccessful POST attempt(s)... Press "Y" to enter Setup or "N" to cancel and attempt to boot with previous settings.". When i press N the pc restart and works normally.
I tested many Hard disks , power supplies , and rams same problem.
Please help me.

DZ68BC Bios Stability Issues Fixed
Ever since I updated my bios from 0028 to anything newer the board has been unusable.
Random reboots, no video, no post, no stability, no ME Management ver. displayed in bios. Just plain garbage.
The board worked flawless before the update, and Intel won't let anyone go back to 0028.
I read in another post about the memory slots being changed in the bios beginning with bios 0035.
Sure enough it looks like the black slots are the primary slots. Both black slots are slot 0 and both the blue slots are slot1.
The bios from version 0035 and higher REQUIRE a memory module in slot 0, the first black one closest to the CPU.
This cured everything about the board!!! Even the overclocking problems with bios 0035.
I am currently running bios 0042 with absolutely no problems.
Here is my current setup:
i7-2700k
Corsair Vengeance 1600 mhz. Two 8 gig sticks. Both in black slots.
Intel ME ver. 8.1.0.1248 shows in bios
Windows 7 Pro
All latest video and chipset drivers from Intel's web site.
DZ68BC DVI video port
Mildly overclocked to 4.2 Ghz

dh87rl Bios 327: No USB-Boot Devices visible

after updating the Bios to V. 327 I can't boot from USB Devices anymore, they are not visible in the Boot menu (F10). Is this a known problem? After the downgrade to V. 326 everything works as expected.

DZ77GA-70K and Wireless/Bluetooth adaptor
Hello all,
First off thank you for reading my post and any inside tips or tricks you might have for me
Now down to the business of this post
I have the DZ77GA-70K and it game with a Wireless/Bluetooth adaptor, I followed the directions and plugged it into a few 2.0 USB header on the board, installed the drivers for both the WiFi and BT but am unable to use it to connect to either, the other thing is neither show up in the device manager. So am I plugging it in the wrong spot or what is going on here?

DQ965GF black screen after "flash"
Today I updated the Intel DQ965GF board in my htpc to the latest BIOS (old one was from 2006) and now it doesn't boot.
I tried flashing in DOS but it would just hang on a blue screen (might be something to do with AMT security), and when I tried flashing in Windows it told me to reboot, and when it went down and came back up I got nothing. I got a blank screen for a few seconds and then no signal.
I try doing the BIOS recovery (via jumper) but I get no signal for about 5-10 minutes until I get a blank screen. Usually there should be things going on here like the illustration on Intel's site, but there is nothing. I tried two romfiles, a SATA drive, an IDE drive, DVD, CD, USB flash drive, FAT32, FAT, NTFS, everything. I could only get it to go to the blank screen with a USB flash drive (even though the manual said CDs)
Not many blinkenlights which is a bit worrying.
Help *very* appreciated (as usual)
