Cannot connect to the internet using Windows Server 2012 R2.
Hi,
I am using a Windows Server 2012 R2 server. I am unable to connect to the internet with a wired connection.
Here are the things I have tried already:
- Updated possible drivers, but all drivers are saying there is no Intel adapter been found. On my Windows Server 2012 it still was. The exact error message: "Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer".
- Checked for the hardware id's: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1503&SUBSYS_20028086&REV_04 Link: Intel® Download Center Sinds it is not for Windows Server I am curious if there is an appropriate driver for this server.
System model: DH67BL
Bit version: 64 bit.
If there is any information you need which is related to this issue, please let me know.
Intel Desktop Board D2500CC won't shut down
Intel board
Model D2500CC
BOARD VERSION AAG43156-302
It doesn't matter if I push the button or use Windows shut down, about the time the fans stop spinning, it restarts. I've up dated the BIOS. Installed the latest drivers, I tried removing every else except what's needed, I tried another power supply, I tried the Windows NT regedit. Nothing works. The only way to shut it down, besides pulling the power cord, is wait for it restart, then push and hold the power button.
Any help would be appreciated.

Dear All,

The problem started from here.
I have presently wireless keyboard and mouse.
Now when I power on I get this message:
After Pressing Y I get F2/F6/ctrl+2 options but none of them is working....I don't know whether my keyboard is working or not....so I put usb keyboard....but same problem.....system restarts restarts and restarts....
Intel HD graphics causing high CPU utilization
Using the DH61AG motherboard onboard graphics with the latest Intel drivers, Task Manager showed unusually high CPU usage (up to 30%) by System (NT Kernel & System) when watching movies. I tried this without the onboard graphics and CPU utilization went down to roughly 0 for System. Using Process Explorer, I've tracked it down to ntoskml.exe!WheaAttemptPhysicalPageOffline+0x350 and dxgmms1.sys. I believe this is the Intel graphics driver making a DirectX call to page system memory. If there is a way to fix this or if I have to wait for a driver release please let me know.
error 0_ in bottom right after changing msconfig
Hi, I got a virus on Windows 7 and tried to boot up in safe mode by changing MSCONFIG
Since checking "start in safe mode" it stopped booting up - it doesn't boot with windows DVD or bootable USB (I have made sure to change settings in BIOS to boot from these devices first)
It displays 0_ in the bottom right corner and goes no further. I believe the 0_ relates to intel motherboard.....
I have an i7 processor - not sure about the rest of the specs as a friend built this, is there any way I can find the specs from BIOS?
Anyone with any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks
Why doesn't the sound driver install?
I have an Intel desktop board model # D510MO. Board number is AAE76523-404. It's running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. I can't install sound drivers on it. The Intel driver update utility doesn't produce anything. I've downloaded the correct drivers from Intel download, but they don't work. It goes through the installation process, reboots, then there's no audio device installed. I've installed the chipset driver and updated the bios.
DH61BE - BIOS update 0016 > 0099 ,Now No BOOT
Hi good morning , i am new to the community and I am in need of professional help.
I have a mother DH61BE plate with 0016 upgrade , and as you install windows 8 64, decided to update bios, what happens that when searching the bios for this OS , made the mistake of continuing the upgrade sequence without reading the comments, ie the 0016 update to the 099 directly . After seeing the comments , said he had to first upgrade to 0048 , now will not boot me not enter windows 8 , also passes the Intel logo , which I can do? thx
DX79TO BIOS POST error code 5A
Hi,
About a week ago my monitor started going on standby at different times. The only way to wake it up, was to switch power off at the wall and back on again, then restart the computer. It started getting worse until Thursday when nothing I did could wake up the monitor. There were no POST error codes or beeps, the pc worked fine except for the monitor going on standby. On Friday I tried again by switching the power off and on and starting the pc, and now suddenly I get BIOS POST error code 5A, 2 long beeps, a pause and 2 long beeps again. Then the POST carries on and stops at 5b (or S6 or Sb). It is not clear since the monitor does not come on, I can only see the code on the motherboard's display.
I bought a new monitor and connected it to the pc with the same result. I removed all RAM modules and tried different modules in DIMM 1 slot, still the same. Removed one by one the sound card, removed Graphics card, removed all SATA devices: 2 x DVD-Roms and 3 x HDD and 1 x SSD. (one by one and all together). Tried a CMOS reset (removed battery for 20 minutes) and BIOS recovery (removed jumper, restarted, replaced jumper and restarted)
I will be borrowing a Graphics Card from a friend tomorrow to test the card, but since I get the same error code even with the card removed, I do not have high hopes.
Could the cause be a faulty motherboard or CPU and how will I check this without buying new ones (unnecessarily like the monitor)
There has been no changes to hardware, programs or applications. This PC has been the same for 2 years, except the replacement of a faulty Graphics card more than 6 months ago.
Thank you for any help and advice

DH61CR, after bios update, fails to boot
Hi everyone,
I have a pc with DH61CR motherboard, i5-2400, 4GB of RAM. Decided to update bios. Working bios was form year 2010. Express bios flash failed few times, with newest, and few earlier vesions. Decided to flash to next version after curent, working one. Success. Then I flashed one, from Dec 2012. Success. Bios looks different, mouse cursor, etc. Nice... The problem is, that it freezes in first BIOS window, showing Intel logo. If i press F10, i get boot devices list, but after selecting anything, it freezes, only reset helps. Bios update with F7 does not do nothing. Tried resetting BIOS, changing RAM, even CPU, without graphics card - the same. Tried BIOS recovery mode by removing jumper - no image, just cycling between on and off. Is there a way to revive motherboard? I have experience of 10 years of fixing similar issues, but I think only way now is RMA it. Any advice is very welcomed, thanks.
Can Back Panel Connectors be upgraded or replaced?
I have a custom built desktop computer with the DQ77MK motherboard. It was built in 2013 by a gentleman whom I'm not sure can help me with it anymore. If I had been building this and was given the information I gave him I'm sure I would not have selected this motherboard. We are professional photographers and the main areas I have to be concerned about are speed and storage. The speed and power are fine, the ability to add storage is not. There are only five SATA connectors on this motherboard, four are currently being used for the main SSD drive, a secondary 2TB storage drive, DVD payer and I'm not sure what the other is being use for. The fifth is under the massive graphics card installe. And I'm not sure this fifth SATA port actually works. I've tried to connect two different hard drives to this port and could not get either one to work. I currently have another healthy drive that I want to try but haven't had the time yet. The graphics card is so close to the only open PCI connector that I can't get a card into it. There is a USB card in the PCI Express connector that I may be able to switch out but I would prefer not to lose these. There are only three, two if you don't count the port for the video card, expansion PCI ports on this motherboard. The guy who built this for me gave me a case with something like 8 extra bays and told me that adding extra storage would be an easy process. But he put in a motherboard with absolutely no expansion capabilities that I can tell and also has a 2TB limit on the drives.I can't even replace the currently installed extra drive with a larger one. I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to make this work the way I want it to.
Because of the lack of internal expansion options, what I want to do is connect a MediaSonic Probox and run my storage drives through it. It will run on USB or eSATA, preferable the SATA as USB speeds are way to slow, something like 25mps. This box, to run correctly needs to access an eSATA port with port multiplier capabilities. As far as I can tell none of the SATA ports have this Multiplier capability.
There are two components on the motherboard that is accessed through the back panel that I would like to upgrade. The top one has two high current USB ports (will never use), one IEEE port (will never use, either) and an eSATA port. The other component has two 2.0 USB ports and what looks like an empty access bay.Is there any way, at the very least, to upgrade that eSATA port to support Port Multiplier? Or at best, replace these two components with something I can put to better use. I would like to have at the very least two eSATA with Port Multiplier capabilities and some more high speed USB ports, 3.0.
Is it possible to upgrade or change out these back panel components?
Thank you,
Linda
DN2800MT doesn't boot with TBS6981 PCI-E inserted
Hi all,
I've just bought a DN2800MT to use with my existing TBS6981 dual DVB-S2 card to record TV. Unfortunately the board doesn't boot (no vga output) with the sat card inserted, without it, it's fine. I thought it might be a power issue, as the sat card has additional power socket for use on some motherboards that have low power PCI-E slots, but using external power for the card doesn't help. I read on the TBS forum http://www.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=7823&p=27515&hilit=boot+problem#p27515 that other manufacturer's boards have had similar problems that can be fixed by a BIOS update. I tried updating the standard 0163 to 0165 and again to the just released 0166, but neither helped. The sat card works fine without external power in the older system I hope to replace, and I'm out of ideas, can anyone help?
Andrew

DX58SO QPI/Uncore Voltage Override Problem
I have DX58SO with the latest BIOS (5600) and X5650.
The problem is that I can not set the Performance Memory Profiles in Memory configuration.
If I do, the system can not boot and goes back to default.
I could change the memory settings without any issues through Intel Desktop Control Center, though. I noticed that the uncore voltage is hidden in the bus speed section in Intel Desktop Control Center and in Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.
So I think that the problem is that I see that option in the BIOS, and if I set it, I could not boot.
Is it possible to change the uncore for my xeon?
If so, how?

No sound over HDMI
I'm facing the same problem as this guy (whom I found by googling): No sound on HDMI through a Pioneer VSX-527, works if connected directly to the TV - Ask Ubuntu
Basically, my PC (Ubuntu Server 14.04) is connected to my receiver (Pioneer PSX-527 - detected as "Pioneer Electronic Corporation 72"") via HDMI. Both the TV and the receiver supports 4K resolution. I can however not get any sound if I set the resolution to 1920x1080 and the refresh rate at 60 Hz. In order to get sound too, I have to go down to 25 Hz.
My CPU is a Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3225 CPU @ 3.30GHz and I'm using the built-in graphics chipset.
How can I get sound to my TV at 60 Hz? Is this even a driver issue, or is my receiver simply not good enough?
Raid failure after power d/c, no backup [Intel x58 Raid 0]
Sager NP7282: recently purchased from a man on Ebay, about 2 months ago. It has an Intel x58 motherboard and Intel Rapid Storage Technology RAID interface.
It had upgraded 2 hard disks: 2x vertex3 224GB SSD, which I had put into a RAID-0 for increased speed and performance - and reinstalled the OS. It had just now gotten to a great point -- I was considering doing a full-drive backup and protecting my OS and setup, but I had not yet done so.
Last night, I had an accident when I removed the power cord from the computer, taking it to another location. As soon as the power cord was removed, there was a BSOD, and the computer restarted. As soon as I turned it back on, I found the RAID offline and both drives listed as "Offline Member."
I booted this up into Hiren's BootCD -> Parted Magic Linux, and I discovered that both drives, when in AHCI mode: were fine and had no damage according to the SMART sensors on the drive. When the drives are booted in AHCI mode instead of raid, they are both powered on and listed, but cannot boot because of their RAID structure.
When they are booted as RAID in the BIOS, they do not power on [so far as I can tell] and do not function.
I removed the back of the laptop to manually inspect each drive, and there did not appear to be any damage to them: and the laptop booted into BIOS and Ctrl-I Intel Rapid Storage RAID SETUP with only 1 drive.
My attempts to fix this in Intel Rapid Storage Technology Raid Setup:
1) Recovery volumes, as listed by the manual. This was a negative: both options 1 and 2 returned the same result, and I did not know what it was that it meant: if maybe I had incorrectly installed the RAID, or if I had not setup a recovery partition yet.
Option 1: http://imgur.com/o1BDNTm
Option 2: http://imgur.com/iaHAd4K
I need assistance immediately! Preferably today or tomorrow - so I can get back to my business and work.
Every time I look at this raid setup and the RAID recovery software: I'm afraid that I'll lose my entire drive and all my DATA. It is imperative that this not happen. Maybe you can recommend free RAID recovery software for me, or you can give me perfect instructions on how to overcome this.
Imperative! TiberLifeGenius

Update Feb 13th 11:10pm
I've been booting to Windows 8 PE [a special version with lots of utilities]
and I've twice backed up the RAID array, and both have apparently failed.
The first:
I used ReclaiMe Free Raid Recovery: and it made a copy of my recovered RAID array, and I put it on a 500gb SATA drive:
but the drive image didn't boot correctly: it was missing a windows logo when it booted, and it had 2 users: Admin and [my name] but neither would boot right.
The admin would boot up, but showed a blank desktop and failed completely. The [my name] normally has a fingerprint access, which was unavailable, and wouldn't even accept characters into the password field. It was a dead end.
The second: I used DiskInternals Raid Recovery 3.1, and it did a [complicated] raid analysis for me: I think I did the right thing by taking a 448gb Raid array file, and exporting it to a .dsk file: That was the size of my RAID array, of 2 disks -- it should have been everything.
Here's where things are complicated, and where I'm stuck:
-The .dsk file was opened, and all it said inside was that it had a file called STORAGE.
-I found 2 programs that opened .dsk files, only 1 worked: WinImage: and I used to to clone the entire .dsk image to the SATA array:
This completed around 1 hour ago --- but the raid 0 array did not boot, and the disk does not have any files on it. After 4 hours of data transfer, and moving the .dsk file to my Raid 0 array:
My raid 0 array currently says this: 447 GB -- Unallocated. I am almost completely certain the .dsk image was successful: so what do I do now?
What do I do now, with my .dsk image transferred to the 2 HDs in Raid 0 -- how do I recover my file system, and once again make it a bootable OS again?
Reply to sylvia_intel:
I tried to install the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology on both a Windows 8 and WIndows 7 PE -- and neither of them would do it correctly, or install the program.
I will consider trying it -- but I think my step in the recovery process now might a wrong time for that.
So I have a .dsk image on my array: and it has tremendous amount of data on it: but there is no file system. Where is the next step? I had thought the restoration of my filesystem was actually very precise and careful, and accidents could end me.
I still have both a 500GB drive with an unbooting copy of my raid array, and a 448gb .dsk file that can be applied again.
The original array has already been reset, and cannot be copied or recovered anymore.

After regular shutdown - Intel 82579LM - This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Hi guys,
Sorry that I create new post but this thread (Intel 82579LM - Error code 10) is little bit different cause LcsFletcher have different problem.
On my motherboard Intel DX79SI, there are 2 adapters. Intel 82574L and problematic Intel 82579LM.
Newest bios 0650 and network driver Intel 82579LM - PROWinx64_19.5
After boot of machine from poweroff state (not unplugged cable just normal Shutdown in Windows), the adapter is in warning state with error "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".
Not very nice workarounds:
- When I uninstall 82579LM as device from device manager and rescan devices, card is installed again and everything is OK and it continue work properly.
- Another method is not to shutdown PC, just reboot machine and adapter is OK.
- Disable adapter and enable it from device manager works.
I tried without succesfull:
- uninstall with driver and install drivers again
- disabling Windows to manage powerstate
- unplug all devices (Nvidia 560TI and Adaptec 5405 raid) boot without them ....
- resetting CMOS by F9 in Configuration state
- unplug battery for bios....
- older and new Intel proset drivers included Microsoft default driver from 2013
- NVM Update Utility for Intel 82579V - not works for that adapter
- Windows Safe mode and .... same operations
- Finally also reinstalled Windows - same problem
So finally, my adapter is in bad state with Error Code 10 only after boot from shutdown (not reboot)
This is strange, cause I used it for 2 years without this issue.
Masters, I am at the end of my knowledge and google does not help. Pleeeeease .....
