DZ68BC with BIOS 28 and having problems. Please, I need some help.

Hello Intel Team and experts here.

Well, I have a computer I made about 3 years ago with Intel DZ68BC  with BIOS 28

Intel i7 2600k

Kingston memories 16 gigas ( I used the ones on the intel motherboard list )

Windows 7 PRO 64 bits.

SSD intel 510 series 120 gigas.

Power supply Corsair 850 w.

The fact is my computer never worked well.  I spent a lot of money to buit it. The computer looks like wants to frozen all the time, sometimes when I'm typing text gives me the impression that fought for a second and then skips letters.

When I use simple 3D features, OMG, it is a caos, even using my AMD HD 7970.
Even the SIMPLE second life www.secondlife.com that works perfect on INTEL IRIS, it frozen in my system with a powerfull videoboard as 7970, the best before the R9s ones.

PLease, I need a solution.

WHAT IS the best BIOS for this motherboard? The one I HAVE? 39? the latest? PLease user, please Intel, Please experts, I really need a help. please.  I am suffering with it.

What I need for this machine works better?  Should I update the bios? there any BIOS stable and better then the BIOS 28 ??
I will use the same hardware I described

I can't access BIOS on DH67BL: keyboard unresponsive?

I'm trying to access BIOS on DH67BL, using a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 in a USB 2 port. Hitting F2 for Setup does nothing, neither do F7 or F10 (which are supposed to be BIOS Setup, BIOS update and Boot Menu, respectively). I'm sure I have been able to access BIOS before on this motherboard; but I'm not sure if I have been able to access it with this keyboard. I have no other keyboard for testing. Once the operating system loads the keyboard is fully functional again.

I have tried setting the jumper for BIOS maintenance mode: that opens up the maintenance mode, but there's no keyboard functionality there either so I can't make any changes or even view the settings. I also have tried removing and replacing the battery to restore default settings in case I have inadvertently previously changed something in BIOS: the clock was reset, but apart from that no difference (well, the computer didn't boot up properly then - fans turned but no signal to the screen - after that. Until I reset the jumper for BIOS maintenance mode and then back to normal, and now it boots up tnormally, but no difference where I was trying to make one.)

I'm thinking it could be an issue with the keyboard, but I can't test that now. What else could it be? How to fix or get around this? For now, I just want to set my new SSD as the first boot option, but in the end I really should be able to access BIOS anyway.

Beep Code for Intel Desktop DP55WB mother board

A custom built (older computer) just started having the following problem:  On boot up, no graphics, and the following beep code 2-1-1-1

I swapped memory around with no impact.

The processor is a i7-860 (LGA1156)

The graphics card is a NVidia GEFORCE GT610 which was replaced in Jan 2013.  I haven't tried swapping it out until I understand the beep code.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi,

I have a Intel Core 2 Quad processor based system Desktop, having Intel Motherboard Model :- DG41WV.

Recently I upgraded my system BIOS from Intel website.

Today I was trying to update my Audio Driver from the Intel Driver CD / DVD which came with the Motherboard. But the Intel Express Installer is giving the following error :- "Current System is not an Intel(R) Desktop Board (A044412A)".

When I run the Board CD Tool (BoardID.exe) but it does not show the Model No. and Version No. of the Board.

Please find attached herewith the screenshots of the errors.

Please help to get rid of these errors.

TSC calibration error (Linux, DX79SR + 3930K i7 )

I have an linux box (Red Hat 7) that doesn't quite work.  On boot, I get a error stating that "Fast TSC calibration failed."  According to google this seems like a common and harmless error, but it locks up my machine and the bootup doesn't complete.

Is there a way to test my hardware (CPU, motherboard, ram) to see if my hardware is faulty?  I've just upgraded the bios in the DX79SR to be the most recent version available, and it seems functional.

The DX79SR has lots of overcloacking features that I'm not interested in using.  Could an errant BIOS switch choice be the sort of this problem?

Any suggestions appreciated,

Nathan

Ram 1866 wont boot

Motherboard: Intel DZ77BH-55K
CPU: i5-3550 Stock clocks
GPU: XFX 7870 Double D
Ram: 2x8gb 1866 DDR3 Ripjaws - F3-14900CL10D-16GBXL

I have updated the bios to the most recent via the Intel website. I have tried utilizing both XMP profiles and neither will boot. I have tried inputting the timings manually and it still wont boot at 1866. The only way I got it to boot in 1866 was with manual timings and 1.55v The problem with this is it was unstable and had 700+ errors in memtest86 and hung at test 6. It can't even get through all the tests.

Anyone had experience with similar issues on these RAM. Am I SOL and have to live with it at 1333?

Hello,

the process igfxsrvc.exe is apparently part of the Intel Common User Interface and in use/started when I perform a right click on the desktop which causes an annoying delay of about 2 seconds while opening the context menu.

What is that process for?

Can I disable it or is there another way to avoid the delay?

DZ87KLT BIOS has detected unsuccessful POST attempt(s)

System gets message on startup after powering up

"BIOS has detected unsuccessful POST attempt(s)..."

and offers a choice of entering BIOS or retrying boot with existing settings. Neither works, and BIOS cannot be entered. After the initial splash screen, and typing F2, the above message repeats.

Up to now, the system has been operating without problems for more than a year.

After sitting for several hours, the system booted normally. Now, following subsequent shutdown, the message has reappeared. There have been no hardware changes or BIOS changes. When the system is in the failing state described above, the internal motherboard 7-segment display stops on "00 92", after running through several other values.

DZ87-KLT motherboard with BIOS KLZ8711D.86A.0453.2014.1007.1848

1) How can I find out the cause of this error? The Tech Spec says 0x92 means "Detecting the presence of the keyboard". After the "BIOS has detected unsuccessful POST attempt(s)..." message, typing Y or N on the keyboard is sensed, as it causes another iteration of the message after some re-initialization.

2) How can I fix the cause, so this error does not occur?

Brand New DZ77GA-70k Will not update bios

$

Hello, I recently purchased a brand new mobo, the DZ77GA-70k and it refuses to update it's bios. I've tried flashing and etc but nothing seems to work accordingly.

On this issue as well is that whenever I put in my 980 ti, my computer will not get past the Skull Intel Logo, and I cannot even get into bios from there, it just stays frozen.

However, my old Radeon Sapphire WILL work and boot.

I've been stressing over this since I got this motherboard and it's been 25+ hours, any help would be greatly appreciated.

BIOS update. Too old CPU microcodes.

I bought a new CPU for my Intel DG41TY and installed it. It works, yet there is a couple pf problems. The first is that a couple of insructions don't work. SSE4.1 and Intel VT-x and it cant restart. For restart I must shut down PC first and then turn it on again. Many people are had the same problem, they just modded their BIOS updating the microcodes section. I can't do it because of security against uncertified BIOS files.

P.S. I have the latest BIOS for my m/b, it is  TYG4110H.86A.0045.2010.0706.1910 dating 07/06/2010, Yet the microcodes there are from 2008.
