Hi guys,

Recently, I got the above message([PCH Core Voltage] out of recommended range.(1.640 V)) when I was using the PC and i didn't know what it meant.

So i shut down the system just to be safe. When i tried to start again after some time it was not booting up(started for 1 sec and stopped immediately).

After a while, I removed the CMOS battery and put it in again(to clear CMOS), then the PC booted and but when i logged in, i was still getting the same warning message from Intel desktop utilities

Can you guys please help me understand what is the problem here??

Also can you provide suggestions to fix this??

Thanks in advance

My build:

Intel DZ75ML-45K mother board and a i7 3770 processor.

Corsair GS600 power supply

8gb of RAM

DB65AL

I am interested in buying a new motherboard. The chosen board is the Intel DB65AL.

My question is:  Some purchase sites listes the board as DB65AL and some sites list the board as DB65ALB3.

What is the difference between these two designations?

The new system configuration will be the DB65AL board with a Intel I3 2100 processor.

I welcome any comments and suggestions anyone cares to make concerning the listed system.

DH67CL Not detecting integrated graphics i7 2600

I have an intel dh67cl (recently purchased as my old board died) and I was using it with no problems for a few weeks. My GPU died of old age, and I took it out for the RMA. Now that it is out, my board will not boot from integrated graphics. It wouldn't work with the setting at adaptive so I set it to use the integrated graphics as the primary and now my computer won't boot with a card in it or not. I cannot get video out at all. If I press the power button and hold it for a tiny bit longer than a regular press it beeps 3 times. I attempted to clear bios settings with the jumper but it appears that is only useful for password recovery and recovering the bios after a failed upated. Is there any way to fix this? Currently the CMOS battery is out and I am going to put it back and attempt to boot it after I get home from work, does removing it even reset any settings? Should I download a bios update and take the jumper off and try to reinstall the bios?

Hi, pleased to meet you all!!!

i need an info on this motherboard. i already googled my question and also searched in the comunity....but no luck.

Well, my question is this.... this motherboard got all that i want and need for a second PC, windows 7 is also enough but i am just wondering(my kids...pretending...cause all the apps)  if this motherboard will works fine with windows 10 and above all if is compatible with it... the motherboard got an i3 core cpu so i thing that EFI and NX/XD-bit specs for windows 10 are satisfied....at least i hope so.

Now i know that intell stopped supporting this motherboard but many own old boards upgraded to windows 10 without problems....there is someone that can give me some news about this and any advices? also because i am going to buy this motherboard and i wouldn't like to discover this after i spent my money

i accept also some hints...maybe there are bugs on this old board that i should know...

thanx a lot for the help..

dc2500cc reboot issue

Hi,

i have an issue with a dc2500cc board: if i shutdown it from a linux client (halt or shutdown -h now or soft-off via power-button) it alway reboots after a few seconds. Only by pressing power-button for more then 5 seconds the board is going off without rebooting.

The BIOS is updated to CC0040 version. With an older version (0036?) i did not have this problem, but wake on LAN or wake from S5 state does not work, so i have updated the BIOS.

Can someone help me get the board in the S5 state without rebooting..

Thanks

Michael

Update for Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 keeps failing with error code 80070103

Windows Update (on Windows 8.1) is trying to install an update for Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 and it keeps failing with error code 80070103. I have tried to contact with Microsoft, they advised to download that driver from Intel, I’ve done it. But it’s failing with the same error code 80070103. I would be grateful, if someone could help? Microsoft said that the error related to Intel product.

Hi

I´ve installed the graphicscard "Club 3D Radeon HD 7970 XT2 '13Series" and my system will not boot anymore.

My old card, HD 7870, is working fine!

So please help me! What´s the problem and how can i fix it?

The Bios is the latest (2209). The Power-Supply is BeQuiet Pure Power 630w and i´ve attached both powercables (6pin + 8pin)

The Mainboard gives me the POST-Code "E6" on LED-Display and then it stops booting and freezes at Intel-Boot-Logo.

Is there any possibillity to make the card work on this board? Let me know!

Thanks!

I have a home-built system running the DH77EB board, Ivy Bridge i7, 8GB RAM, WIndows 8 Release Preview, Radeon HD7870 and a Samsung 830SSD.

I saw that the most recent 11.6 version of the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver now lists Windows 8 compatibility, the prior 11.4 version worked on Windows 8 but did not list Windows 8 compatibility.  I went ahead and installed 11.6, but it does not appear to start - the icon in the system tray says Intel RST service is not running, and when I click on it to launch the app, nothing happens.  I checked the error log and this is what I see:

Has anyone else had this issue with 11.6?

Hello!

1. Does those Intel chipsets have AMT? Does they support KVM-VNC?

a) Intel G45 (Intel P45/P43 rev. A3 + Intel 82801JR (ICH10R) rev. 00)

b) Intel Z68 (Intel Sandy Bridge rev. 09 + Intel Z68 rev. B3)

c) Intel H170 (Intel Skylake rev. 07 + Intel Skylake PCH rev. 31)

2. Does Intel have list of all chipsets that provides preboot text console via KVM-VNC?

Autoreboot with whole drive encrypting (servers like)

$

Hello!

It seems that Intel have some mans with brains so I hope you can help me a little...

I need to make one small server (based on standard but robust PC components Intel G45 + Q9550S) whole encrypted and with auto-reboot possibility without admin present each time. The purpose for encryption is to secure server data from direct access by unscrupulous datacenter stuff: by copying whole HDD, or just stealing 1 of 2 HDD from RAID, etc. And don't tell me about "case access alert" etc - this information will not help to protect stolen data.

What possibilities I already examine:

A) HDD password does not encrypt data at HDD, so if someone stole HDD its possible to open data by: removing password protection, change HDD controller to similar, etc.

B) Windows BitLocker with default settings have 2 huge security problems: a) all system is encrypts with keys that stored at unsecure area of the same HDD (yes, BL have many levels etc, but nevertheless its unsecure); b) data stored at user private area encrypts better and keys are hidden, but its impossible to access encrypted users data (like database or web server) without entering a password manually, so auto-reboot will not work. So at default settings BitLocker is useless.

C) TC/DC/BC/PGP/etc whole disk encryption have no security issue but they required a manually entered password at boot time - so admin must be there and enter password via keyboard.

D) PXE boot with DC have problem because DC loader with keys transfers via internet without encryption - it is a total security hole.

E) iPXE boot with DC already have TLS/HTTPS connection, but still require not encrypted boot image with DC keys that must always lie opened via internet and awaiting for server reboots - that is too a huge security problem because that host with boot-image can be broken by some hackers methods via internet.

F) iLO/RILOE/IP-KVM is a standalone old hardware versions of new Intel AMT-KVM technology and cost too high money for they primitive possibilities, also no one knows does they secure or not?!

G) Intel AMT with KVM-VNC gives possibility to enter password at boot time for whole disk encryption made by TC/DC/BC/PGP/etc via secure TLS/HTTPS protocol, but it still needs admin for password entering, so auto-reboot does not work.

H) So it seems that only automated and secure method is to use TPM soldered on MB (TPM added via TPM-connector also can be stolen or fastly copied). TPM can be used with BitLocker so encryption keys will lie inside soldered on motherboard TPM - that is secure enough (not many can crack TPM and extract keys from it).

So here is my questions:

1. Does anyone can add something to my list? Another methods? Problems resolves?

2. What method of server encryption do you use and recommend?

3. What method you can suggest to owners of motherboards without soldered TPM, without TPM-connectors, without Intel AMT-KVM? (as I have)

Greetings to all,

The current BIOS onboard only have the Front Panel selection and the Audio driver Software from the CD have no option to enable Rear Audio function too.

Also, if updating to latest BIOS with the option/selection to Enable the Back Audio function, please advice where can I find the latest BIOS updates for this particular motherboard.

Your kind assistance and help, would be much appreciated.

Thank you .

DH67CL died after setting faster memory timings

$

This involves a i5-2500K / DH67CL. I thought I'd take advantage of the faster timing of the Crucial memory (7-7-7-24). Big mistake. I went into BIOS and changed the memory mode from Automatic to Manual, as the DH67CL does not recognize native timing, and the top four numbers to 7-7-7-24. I saved and rebooted, only to discover that the system was toast. I don't believe in coincidences.

I disconnected the SSD and HDD. I swapped various sticks, all either Crucial or Hynix, brands with which I've had 100% success. I removed the battery for a few hours. Nothing changes the symptoms, which are:

When I press the power button, the system starts (fans turn, front power LED lighted, and DVD-CD light flashes) for a second or two and then stops. It will do that for a few cycles, but I don't know if it will continue forever because I won't let it. If I press and hold the button, it will beep three times; if I hold the button down after the cycle starts, it will beep a subset of that depending upon what part of the cycle I hit. Nothing ever shows on the monitor. The monitor LED never changes from yellow to blue, as it always does when it starts receiving a digital signal. The monitor, keyboard, mouse, and cables thereof work with other systems (I'm using them right now). Adding a video card or different PSU changes nothing.

I wonder if the board is confused because of the memory timing changes, not to mention the three beeps. I do not understand why removing the battery does not reset all defaults, but I think I found yet another obscure bug which will never be fixed. The BIOS is already at 0160, the latest.

UPDATE: I let it sit sans battery all night. This morning I downloaded BIOS 0159. I was going to use my old external floppy drive until I realized that the almost 10 MB file would not fit. I copied it to a USB flash drive and inserted it into a back panel port. I removed the jumper and powered the PC up. No video was seen, but the fans ran and the power light on the front was lighted. I let it run that way for 1/2 hour. I think it would have run forever, so I pressed and held the power switch to turn it off. I removed the USB flash drive and reinserted the jumper. The symptoms are the same as before.

Is there a super-duper method of bringing a board back to factory defaults?

DP55KG PCIe SSD

Hello, this is my first post and I'm glad to meet you.

Well, it's 6 years since I built my actual dp55kg based system and time has come to jump into SSD world. And... why not do it at beast mode?

SSD PCIe HyperX Predator - 240 GB, 480 GB | Kingston

I've bought this. And it's working. And it boots Windows 10 without problems. And it rocks. And it makes no noise. And performance is getting me crazy because it cannot run properly.

Here, at spanish Noticias3D fórum, I've posted a Little review and the problem. PCIe x4 slot, announced in the manual as 2.0, is not working at 2.0. In fact I don't know which mode it's working with.

Comunidad N3D

It's an old thread intented to know if the drive could boot or not, because time ago there was a doubt about if the Predator could boot or not. In fact, I wrote to Kingston and they said to me that they did not compromise to guarantee that the drive could work the way I wanted to in my "old" motherboard. Then, i converted that thread into a review and discussion about this Kingston SSD drive.

Help me, please.
