Recuperar BIOS Vaio_R2085H4__Advanced_ByCamiloml

Hola.

No hubo cambios.

Motherboard - DH87RL - usb 2 devices attached to usb 3 root hub

I've got an Intel Desktop motherboard, DH87RL.   I updated to the latest BIOS (0234) today, my system BIOS was 0230.   I'm running Windows 7.

Checking the Device Manager (by connection) all my USB 2 devices (mouse, keyboard and joystick) are connected under the Intel USB 3.0 Root Hub.   This wasn't the case a few weeks ago when I last checked.   Should this be the case?   What needs to be changed to correct it.   The keyboard, mouse and joystick do function.   Following is my an image of my Device Manager.

Any help appreciated.

DP55WB board UEFI enabled problems

$

I enabled UEFI and AHCI in the firmware on the DP55WB board and then installed Windows 7 Pro x64 (which created the MSR and ESP partitions). Everything seemed to install fine but I'm having a few minor problems. First it seems that there is no power management enabled as CPU-Z shows only the CPU frequency at 2800 Mhz with no multipler, bus speed, or rated FSB at all. I have the power settings in Windows to "Balanced" so the CPU freq should go down to 1200 Mhz on idle. Intel Desktop Utilities will take a long time to load up and it doesn't show any information related to my system at all (e.g. temperatures, fan speeds, voltages).

Also when the Windows and UEFI splash screens come up I seem some random numbers and underscores (e.g. "94_") as an overlay. This is a minor problem but it seems to be something with the firmware.

Memory Issue for DZ87KLT-75K

There seems to be a problem with the XMP-3 memory setting when using 32 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2133MHz (CMY32GX3M4A2133C11). Using this setting, the system:

1.) Starts up for 2 seconds

2.) Powers off

3.) Starts up with no POST for 20 seconds then proceeds to boot-up normally

This happens when the memory is clocked to 2133MHz using the XMP-3 profile setting in the BIOS. Doing a soft-shutdown also results in the same sequence of events. However, reversing the memory setting to "Automatic" changes the memory speed to 1333MHz and the system returns to normal operation/start-up. Any clue why this is happening? Has anyone else observed similar problems using Corsair Vengeance Pro memory?

My specs:

Core i7-4770K

32 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro (CMY32GX3M4A2133C11)

Samsung 840 Pro 512GB SSD

BIOS update crashed my system with a DP67BA

Hi, this afternoon I updated bios with last update (77), for a motherboard DP67BA.

Surprisingly, after a normal, automatic reboot, system shutted down. And after that, it didn't booted again.

I've tried with Recovery BIOS, with a back connected, USB 4 GB, FAT32 formatted pendrive but nothing happens.

Fans and lights are on, but screen is blank.

Any idea about this?

Thank you!!

Why is there no HDMI video displayed when booting DH87MC?

System consists of: i5-4670, SSD series 530 systems disc, G.Skill memory F3-12800 CL9D-8GBXL, Seasonic X-650, Centrino Advanced=N6205 wireless adaptor, Visual Bios in Legacy mode and WIN7 HE.

On first boot into setup with a newly built system using HDMI, power light comes on, all fans spin, Intel Inside tone plays but no video display on ASUS VE 228H monitor with Mediabridge Ultra cable. Tried with ASUS VS 238H monitor and different Mediabridge Ultra cable and got the same result. After a number of unsuccessful attempts, I returned the board for a replacement.

The first boot into setup with the replacement board was a repeat of what was experienced with the old board. Being a little smarter, the next attempt to boot was with DVI. Video worked perfectly. O/S and all updates loaded, all Intel drivers and BIOS updates through 054 loaded. Now, with updated system, when I boot with HDMI cable there is no video until WIN7 starts.

I would appreciate any feedback that helps me correct this issue. Peter

DZ87KLT-75K Blu-Ray Drive Hard Hang

$

Okay, I've tried three different Blu-Ray drives now, from three different manufacturers, and for some reason, I'm getting a hard-hang in Windows when running certain tasks with a Blu-Ray drive attached to the discrete controller (gray connectors).  I don't have the same problem if I disconnect the drive, and I don't have the same problem when I move the drive to one of the Intel controller (blue) SATA connectors.  Unfortunately, I have six HDD/SDD and need each of the Intel/blue SATA connectors for drives, and want to resolve this very strange bug/issue. Could someone help me troubleshoot this?  This is the only lingering issue with my new build.

Some background:

1) Hard-hang causes the motherboard to completely ignore the reset NMI switch (super bad), and I have to hold down the power button to force an ATX power supply shutdown.  I don't like doing this when the operating system is up, but it's necessary.  I've let it sit for an hour, it does nothing.

2) Some of the things that can make the system hang are: trying to run utilities that scan for new devices, particularly hard drives, such as Windows Drive Management, Samsung Drive Magician (to manage my SSDs), and even installing and uninstalling some Intel drivers.

3) I've gone through three different drives (Sony, Asus and now Pioneer), choosing the highest rated drives I could find.  Three manufacturers, same issue.  I don't think it's the drives' fault.

4) Back when I was first having this hard-hang issue, I wasn't sure what the problem was and kept having the issue.  It caused my registry to become seriously corrupted, and made me waste an entire weekend trying to troubleshoot a weird driver issue.

So, I want to resolve this issue as soon as possible, and I'm not sure what I can do to fix things. Anyone?  It sounds like the discrete controller is giving me issues, but I don't see where there are any controller drivers to be loaded as they are included in the operating system.

Need help with DX79TO POST issue

Hey guys, I'm having a huge problem trying to get past POST on my machine.  I'm basically seeing two scenarios:

     -  In one, it lands on POST code 33 and just hangs for like 5-10 minutes before doing a hard reboot

     - In the second, more common one, it cycles through a few codes, lands on 21 for about 30 seconds, then continues through b0, b1, b2, b7 then does a hard reboot

In neither case does the video ever come up - I'm reading these off the LED display on the board itself.  At this point I've removed the audio and video cards, removed all but one RAM stick, and unplugged power for the HDDs and blue ray drive.

Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? dx79

Problem with HDMI audio using intel hd 4600 graphics

Hello,

I've got a huge problem regarding my hdmi audio in my intel dq87pg board. The setup is the following:

HTPC  -> Displayport to HDMI Adapter -> Onkyo AV Receiver -> TV

OS is Windows 8.1, Graphic drivers etc. are the latest.

if the TV and the AV Receiver is on when I start the HTPC, everything works fine. But if it is switched off while booting, the computer does not find any hdmi audio device when the receiver is turned on later. The same happens when av receiver is on during boot and the sound works and I restart the AV reveiver or replug the cable in between.

I've tried nearly everything, different drivers, reinstall windows etc, but nothing helps. Does anyone have a solution?

Many regards

Florian

Motherboard DQ67OW fails to wake up from hibernate

Hi everybody. I've got a problem with a DQ67OW motherboard. Because I have to use it in an automatic system, where the PC has to wake up from hibernation, has to start a program and stop it, I need to use a HIBERNATION function. The problem appears in this way: I put the PC in hibernation from Win7 using the power supply button (or in final version with a program WakeUpOnstandby); then I unplug the power supply. After some time I reconnect the power supply and start the PC with power button. At this point a LOT OF TIMES appaire a text like this:

"The firmware of the sistem can't conserve the map of memory of the system during the transition from the state of hibernation.....Verify if it is available an upgrade of the firmware from the system propietary because this could be solved the issue" (in Italian).

Then:

"impossible to stop the state of hibernation of the computer

state 0xC0000411

Informations: error during elaboration of data

file: \ hiberfill.sys"

Because I tried on time to format all the HDD (an SSD) an install the OS from the Clean Installation, with just the Intel drivers installed and the drivers of video board (nvidia Geforce 210) without any kind of positive results, I asked someone a risolutive help.

Bye

DX79SR and USB 3.0 Firmware Updates

I'm sure like most of you, your USB 3.0 ports are not working under Windows 8.  When I saw the firmware updates dated 5/9/2013, I thought finally.  Well after installing the update I can say they still don't work.  I install both updates, front and rear.  The front update processes fine...and those ports may work, but I don't have them hooked up.  The rear update throws the message Device not found!USB.PNG

Any help to get this working under Windows 8, would be much appreciated.

HDMI = No Audio

My motherboard is: ASRock H81M-HDS

I have Intel(r) HD Graphics 4600 and run Windows 7 64bit.

I do not appear to have any Graphics Audio Drivers and when I try to install them it says that I do not meet the minimum system requirements. This means that the TV (connected straight through an HDMI cable) is not picked up at all as an audio device.

Maximum drives for DH87RL

Hello everyone. Here is my question, because I can't figure it out after trying a lot of different things and not finding answers in google.
Board model: DH87RL

Board version: AAG74240-401

BIOS version: RLH8710H.86A.0325.2014.0417.1800

OS: Windows 7 professional

I have 2 ssd's mounted as raid 0 with the OS. Then 2 hdd's also in raid 0 as main storage. And then 3 dvd burners.

Now, I want to add 2 more ssd's, so I disconnected 2 dvd burners that I don't need anymore. But I can't get the BIOS to recognize the new ssd's.

I'm not connecting them to the sata connectors on the MB, because there are only 5 and 4 are used in the other hard drives.
I'm connecting them to this small PCIe card to which the dvd burners were connected to. But I have no luck. This PCIe card doesn't have a brand or name or model or anything, and I'm assuming it came with the MB.
Can you please point me in the right direction? What other things I can try?
Thank you very much in advance.

DH67GD won't post with a new R9 280X video card installed

Hi,

Got a problem here that I've been scratching my head over for a while. I purchased a PowerColor Radeon R9 280X and when I install it in the PCIe x16 slot of my DH67GD, the system will not post nor output any video. The onboard video does not output anything in this case, either. This is the 2nd card I've had the problem with, I RMA'd the 1st card back to the seller and received a replacement. My older PowerColor HD 6770 works just fine in the same slot, and the onboard video works just fine either with no video card installed or with the HD 6770. With the R9 280X installed I cannot <F2> into BIOS config, no video comes out on any port I can see, and despite LEDs being on and fans spinning on CPU, case, and video card I see no indication that anything is happening. I've also tried using the BIOS Config jumper on the motherboard to force the system into BIOS config screen, but no luck when the R9 280X is present. Installing all the latest AMD drivers didn't affect anything, nor uninstalling all video drivers and using default Microsoft inbox drivers. Any suggestions?

Feels like a compatibility issue between the R9 280X and something else, but I can't tell if it's with the i7 or the mobo/chipset.... I saw a similar discussion on another thread, but the card in question was an XFX R9 280X.

System details:

Power Supply: Corsair RM1000 - 1000W

CPU: Intel i7 2600

Mobo: Intel DH67GD

RAM: 4x 4Gb DDR3 Corsair - 16GB total

SSD: Intel SSDSC2MH120A2

HD: 3x Western Digital 750GB in RAID5

OS: WIn7 Pro SP1 64-bit

DX79SI - Poor USB3.0 & LAN driver support

I'm having major issues with the USB3.0 driver support for the DX79SI, and it looks to be interfering with the “Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection”.

The system frequently hangs when loading Windows 7.  Once I finally get it to load successfully, I notice that the “Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection” was not able to start successfully.  Also, an extra “Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller” device appears under “Universal Serial Bus controllers”.  That leaves 2 USB 3.0 Host Controllers & 1 Hub in Device Manager when I only remember 1 of each with a fresh install.

Intel, I’d be happy to provide any additional info you need about my set-up.  The only new components in this system are the motherboard and processor.  This issue happens with previous and fresh installs of Windows 7 x64.

DH77KC & Asus Xonar DGX

Hello, I have the problem with the working Asus Xonar DGX PCI-E soundcard on Intel DH77KC, latest bios 1018.

After power on, computer stops at Intel Desktop Board logo, even F2 no responce. Sometimes Windows is booting, but in this instance no device in device manager. I've tried to disable onboard audio, this is in no way affect.

But, when I've disabled in the bios "PCIe ASPM Support" or "peg only", sound card is starting and working normally (by default ASPM was on).

Does it incompatibility, or warranty case of motherboard/sound card?

My specs: Core i5-3570, Radeon HD7850, 1x8GB RAM, RAID-0 WD10EZEX.

Change the "Hard Drive Write Cache Enabled" setting on DP35SP

$

Hi all

I've recently replaced a failed drive in a Mirror volume for a friend on DP35DP board.  Rebuild was fine, but when I compare the two disks, first has the "Hard Drive Write Cache Enabled" setting as YES, the other disk has NO.

The disks are the same, Seagate ST3500320NS drives, except the first (replaced) drive has a firmware SN06 and the other SN05, so initially I am thinking this is the problem.  I would imagine it is better to have both drives setting the same.  The volume cache has been turned off so I guess I am safe.

I cant find a setting in the Martix Storage Console 7.8 on Windows Server 2003 to change the setting.  Maybe it has to be changed at BIOS level?  Maybe it cant be changed manually and it's the firmware?  I just don't know.  I plan on upgrading the original disk's firmware to match but don't want to yet if there is a setting I can change.

Hope you can advise!

Marty

DQ77MK MSATA Port SPEED ? 3 or 6Gb

Hello,

Refering to : http://downloadmirror.intel.com/21340/eng/dq77mk_TechProdSpec02.pdf

On page 16 : it's told 6Gb port

Letter : X      SATA 6.0 Gb/s connector (multiplexed with an mSATA port, routed to the PCI

                    Express Full-/Half-Mini Card slot) (gray)

On page 17 : for the same connector 3Gb

GREY PORT.jpg

I bought a 6Gb SSD mSATA drive and it's detected as 3Gb under ESXi 5.1.

I have no hope, cause i think it's a bus limitation but if an intel Employee could give me a clue for the technical possibility by design.

And if so for a bios release...

TIA,
